This video is a celebration of sorts, all my recording equipment is finally working properly, and i can start learning what will sound best! This is the second video i've made using ProTools audio data, and i'm pretty happy with the drum sound. By no means am i a recording engineer or audiophile :)

The song is the title track from Porcupine Tree's album "Lightbulb Sun".
There are a few flubs here and there, but this is a really fun track to play and i really recommend trying it!

I've been playing for a year and a half, and am currently in a progressive rock band called "The Awakening" - look at my YouTube profile for a link to our material.

Thanks for checking this out!

p.s. - After the song is over, i messed around for a bit...please don't laugh!

  • nice rig! enjoyed your play! hope you begin to write your own stuff, you got it! truth

  • Sick playing man. Gavin is my favorite drummer and I can definitely see how listening to a lot of PT during this time influenced that. I honestly like your version of this song better than Maitland's. Nice work!

  • yo where did you get those bells above ur hats or did you make them like gavin?
