Here I try to show the sound reduction that can be attained by holding the suppressor when firing. The can is made of steel, so it acts as a tuning fork when the carrier of the UZI slams forward into battery.

  • It is the bolt smacking the trunnion and transfering the "ding"..

    Consider re-evaluating you actual headspace so the bolt is held back some 10 - 15 thousandths with a sized primerless case in the chamber and bolt closed..

    That is how I run my M11 SMG and my SBR Uzi.. only time my bolt hits trunnion is on empty chamber.
