You should never slap kick the kick starter like that, you will wreck the starter. Do it the european way and put on a pair of boots stand on the side of the bike using your right foot and stand on a create if you have to and get the starter on the top of the stroke and give a good hard solid kick. Also you should put on a helmet. it would not have been a pretty site if you had loop it when you got on the gas

To the person who said it's too much weight for him or anyone that says this video shows he dosent know how to ride is wrong, that bike can make anyone look bad, ik this because i have the same bike and im only 110, if you have any riding ability whatsoever it dosent matter how much you weigh,, it can beat anyone on a straight away tracks but moguls, forget about it. He might want to wear a helmet with that though.

Nobody knows how to deal with a left-side kickstarter. Here's an idea, how about you get off the bike and stand next to it while kicking it with your right foot. That way, you can focus on getting a good kick rather than balancing precariously with a 40" tall bike between your legs.

With that said, this video really demonstrates the low-end grunt of a 390.
