For one, Linux is free... and two, all Linux distros are different. They all use OpenGL and Compiz the same but they are all different.

So many distros, i just migrated from WINDOWS to LINUX (sabayon), and even though i dont NOTHING about LINUX, i think i could learn to love it. Oh yeah, by the way, whats the difference betwen Ubuntu, Beryl, Sabayon, SUSE, in words a non geek-hacker understands?.

Loool. its different distributions. Like different operating systems But all based in linux. but made by different persons and with different features. Some smaller... some faster... some "geeker"... some with better graphic effects.... some better for working. Some simplier to use too.

It's all about search for each one on linux's website, and see what you like the most.
