  • nice leopard gecko

    :)

    how old is it?

  • Thanks! It turns about 7 yrs this summer. :-)

  • wow it's nice to see someone else with a proper viv set up / size. I was starting to think I was the only one in the world. You'd think these people would be ashamed to show their skinny gecko's & naf, tiny vivs.

  • Thanks! :)

  • Very cute. I don't know how you could stand holding that superworm on your hand. They still creep me out, and they bite too.

  • The crickets both look and bites worse.. ;-)

  • hey man im confused about when to use the heat lamp. or when the gecko should be sleeping. could you help out? thanks

  • wauw what a beautiful perfect leopard pattern!

  • haha du har exakt samma bakrund som jag!

  • it's true geckos don't necessarily die from sand, however impaction is a possibility especially if you have a baby because they often miss when striking, or think they see something that's food that isn't, and end up trying to eat that instead. There's an even higher probability with man-made sand because it is cut, not ground down by waves and time, because of this it has jagged edges and locks together easier inside the intestine. and if the keeper is inexperienced the gecko may die.

  • i've had my gecko for 7 months and i bought him as a baby. hes always had sand as substrate and their has never been a problem. don't go around claiming that "all geckos die from sand".

true, a geckos natural envirment is more rocky then sandy but they still have sand.

  • where do u get the cool background??

  • yes buddy i bought them wax worms like two days after that comment they are okay now big and healthy (:
