This approach at Tegucigalpa, Honduras is one of the most challenging in American Airlines system. Look how close the aircraft comes to the mountain. Then, look at how much of the runway it uses and hat the crosswinds do (actually the pilot is 'slipping' to lose altitude, the smoke is stationary). In addition the runway is only 5,800 feet long and has a 1% down slope with a cliff at the end! If this won't make you suck up the buttons on your seat cushion, nothing will. This is a daylight VFR operation only.
