Hey Vapourmie, Check out my more recent video of the 3.8 million point game. You can see an actual reset. It has nothing to doing with the coin mech switch. There is an actually known software glitch that causes the reset. The challenge with the extra men is that it only shows 7 at the top of the screen, so knowing how many you have isn't possible unless you mentally keep track.

The "official" world record is 350 million points. At a rate of 4 million points per hour, this would take approximately 85 hours to accomplish, and that is if the player is aggressively point pressing. I recently broke 10 million points in 2.5 hours and my shoulder were SCREAMING. I sincerely doubt that any single person could play this game for over four days straight, without rest or a break. That doesn't even take into account the fact that the game is notorious for resetting due to a bug.

@waterbornyakker Dunno. I've heard it said you can accumulate enough lives that you can take a break whilst a few of them die. The most reason Robotron rebooted was an anti-vandalism device which triggered if you hit the coin mech,
