"Side Orders" short doc series. Food. It's one of the most important and satisfying parts of life. Across the US, my friend and I travelled the country looking for what makes food so important to the people who make it and what goes in to how they prepare it. We profiled six cities and the indicative cuisines that make these cities so awesome. This one's about Seattle and why coffee is such a staple of the community. Is it all the rain that forces people inside? Is it the people that just have an overall appreciation for these beautiful beans? We profiled 2 amazing roasters, Cafe Vivace and Stumptown. Both places were awesome to work with and their coffee is bar none, the best you will find. Which one is your favorite?
