  • The first 50 seconds are from Vangelis Papathanasiou-Spiral.Unfortunately the rest of the track has nothing to do with quality music and quality Drum and Bass.I am sorry guys.

  • @covexin8a Unfortunately your POV has nothing to do with quality drum&bass

  • @Gercas007 In my opinion current drum and bass is not that good as the old skool tunes were.Probably we belong in different age groups and our taste in music is different. But when a sample from the work of Vangelis is used in a modern music genre I would expect different treatment. The value added on Sub Focus's track was from the sample of Vangelis and no the other way around.

  • @covexin8a From a POV of a DJ I can tell you - in most of my cases the sample is not even heard during the mix. I also like the buildup right before the drop even more than the sample.

  • The beginning is from Vangelis - Spiral

  • @wrathchild16 I know that mate! :)

  • trackmania 2 sends me here!

  • @mooglisxbg67000 This one is not a remix. It's just the earlier version of the original mix. Sub Focus made his essential mix way before releasing his album. Keep your language clean mate ;)

I like this song, but I'm with you, that vangelis sample was wasted with this song

  • im still listening to this

  • Useriiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii sub focus RULEZ hahhahah up the irons \m/

  • skip to 1:02 for the real bit and turn that bass up to high

  • @covexin8a Yep. Really shit, but normal dnb. Easy to do and shit to listen :D

  • baked as fuck!! my brain is so running in overdrive!!! fuck MDMDA loll

  • Well,I believe that if Sub Focus had non intention of not wanting the sample heard whist the tune playing he would not have used it in the first place.

The fact that you like the built up more than the sample is merely due to the fact that probably we are in different age groups and have different music backgrounds. The sample dates back in 1976 and is still used by professional producers in 2011.Do you think that 2011 tunes will be sampled in 40 years time.I hope so.
