Very nice. I'm playing this piece right now and it's not easy to hit those octave double stops, and I think you redeemed yourself by playing the second set well. Do a dance or something during the piano solo so you don't look so awkward =]

The double stops at the beginning are so out of tune... just needs more practice and more emotion

Some comments are a little rude and the concert is hard, but I've played it few years ago and he just sounds like he didn't practice enough! There are some good things but there are also parts where it hurts to listen! Because of the fact he is not prepared well he has no space to actually listen to the music itself so a lot of it is like first reading. All those technically easier parts are so melodically beautiful they shoudl sing and it is more just like moving his bow up and down.

This does not suck... I can't believe how rude some people are. I've been playing the violin for years and am working on this piece right now.. sure some of it is out of tune but that only constitutes for like, 5% of what he played... good god people. And to the person above me, what does your friend have to do with anything??

i'm sorry but this sucks. I have a friend who won a state competition with this song when he was in 8th grade so don't give me the "young" excuse. This just isn't good

Get a life you people who cannot seem to post helpful comments. Beginner-ish squaking---sounds like somebody is completely jealous that they never got to play the violin as a child. Anyone who plays the violin would know this guy sounds far from beginner.
