Bravo! Great technique. I'm an accordionist with a degree in music and some family members in Kansas City just heard Don and suggested I check out this video. I'd like to hear him in person some time.

He was not the World Champion. He won the USA Championship and placed 4th in the Coupe Mundials (World Championship). This is in no way an insult to Don. I actually played with him many years ago. He's a terrific talent and man.

We just heard Don Lipovac play at the Illinois Polkafest 2009. He is the best. He was the last band out of 9 bands on the 3 day fest. He treated us to some classical playing. Search Illinois Polkafest for the YouTube upload.
