These are the kinds of images that you can look at a thousand times and see something different every time. They are incredibly well composed and balanced. For an artist to dismiss this work as less than respectable, is error in judgment, and they must not know much about good art. Giger has so greatly influenced film, music, and other related art forms, that I can't help wondering if it isn't plain out ignorance or jealousy that has allowed such unthoughtful responses.

Giger should be the most famous painter/artist alive today but I get the feeling he is almost ignored. In the future people will hail him as one of the greatest ever and only disregard him now because they are snobs. Just look at his stuff, it's utterly astounding, it's so good it scary and feels impossible for it to even exist.

Hitler has always been a racist, hated jews and all that. Back then, there was science and after that, they been telling stories about the spirit world. The nazis have been fasinated with mixing up science with evil in movies. But then there was HR Giger, the man of our parallel dark universe. Filled with all kinds of evil looking creatures and dark and sinister looking landscapes, this guy became famous in science fiction.
