the SI is a 2.0 l 160hp the gti is a 2.0l turbo 200hp why you don't put your gti against a 2.0l 200hp type r? cause the typer just smokes your gti on straigth line and kills it on the corners...don't compare nazi shit to japanese machines...

its funny because when vw made a new vw gold each new one that came out untill the mk4 got heavier and heavier... and they used pretty much the same engines!! this is the same as a golf gti! except this is £5000 less than a golf gti and its faster than a golf gti!!!
