  • It was purely a video shot for visual impact as a public service announcement. The movement of apparatus and personnel were orchestrated by the Director.

  • does the lafd have a dispatch only frequencey where they dispatch stations only? if so, is it listenable online? and where can i find it online?

  • Non LAFD guys, thats how a lot of City stations get out for structures (time is of the essence). I couldn't beleive it until I started working here. Left a small dept and most of the rumors are true.

  • this is really cool.

i have to make a public service anouncement for my government class in school and i am going to do a firefighter one.this is the best one i have seen yet.

  • awesome

  • In and out, in under 60

that means that we are in the apparatus and out of the station withing 60 seconds. (for all calls, but it can be seen the most with struture fires)

  • P.S. Did that guy at the end that ran behind the engine make it to the engine? KEEP THEM COMING!!

  • Good video. but is it always like that? that would be bad if someone were to slip and fall. did that truck start that fast?
