Great videos' both part 1 and 2' I noticed that you mentioned that it was your first time shooting a gun. I was thinking of buying my first gun also, do you think this is a gun worth buying for a beginer? I'm debating between a Glock 17 and a Springfield XD 9mm.

@salomopablo Both of those guns are good for a beginner. Many will tell you to go with a .22 to start with but a full size 9 is mild enough to learn with. The glock is of course a good choice as is the xd. When I was looking, I narrowed it down to the XDM, Glock 17, S&W MP9, and the SR9. All great, you just have to go with what fits you the best.

where did you get one for 600? everywhere I looked asked about 650

@bnmyers6 I got it at my local Scheel's store, but it was on sale. I am sort of an anal shopper so my buying process is months long. I look to find the right thing all while waiting for it on sale. Just wait and you will find one for cheap. You can also keep an eye out for a good used one.

When shooting at the range do you have any problems with glare?

@kingstevi13 I have never had any trouble with glare off the gun. It is shiney but somehow never reflects back at the shooter. The only glare I ever get is from other people there that wish they had one.
