It;s the EWI 4000s. It's an electric wind controller, it operates on Midi. It fingers more like a sax than a clarinet. on some of the other videos I'm playing the Yamaha wx5 and equally expressive wind controller.

You guys sound good. But let me say, I checked out your duets with clarinet, and those sound way better. It's not a criticism except of the technology, there isn't an EWI sound made that can match what you are dealing with on clarinet, but I know its fun to play EWI anyway... lol, so keep having fun. Good job.

It's all about the right tool for the job. The wind synth works so much better on gigs that aren't clarinet gigs. I like the way I play the wx5 better than the ewi4000s. but I've been doing the wxs for years. Thanks for listening.
