MEET PAUL ROSS
Paul Ross spent most of his childhood living in Okinawa, Japan before moving to San Diego, CA in middle school, and finally ending up in Temecula, CA his sophomore year of high school. This is where he first discovered dance as a hobby. As a junior, he joined his high school's all male dance team, Agility, before becoming Captain his senior year. He auditioned for FORMALity (EKetc), a professional all male dance company, in 2006, under the direction of Erik Saradpon. In 2007, he was invited to join EKetc's newly formed co-ed team, Mass Appeal, directed by Phillip Geniza. Dancing with FORMALity & Mass Appeal is where Paul's passion for dance truly came to life. He was (and still is) humbled by his teammates and directors, and it has pushed him to challenge himself physically, mentally, and creatively. Paul has performed at various competitions and shows all over California and out of state, and has also been fortunate enough to dance in projects for other dancers/choreographers in the community. In July 2009, Paul was signed as a new talent with Clear Talent Group. Since signing with CTG this summer, Paul has appeared in a music video for UK's "X-Factor" winner Alexandra Burke's new single "Bad Boys" featuring Flo-Rida. He has also traveled to the Bahamas to film a commercial for the Atlantis Resort. In Nov. 2009, Paul will be traveling to Norway to teach at The Vibe Workshop. Now that dance has grown from being just a hobby to a passionate career and lifestyle, Paul hopes to continue to grow with his craft, never forgetting that as a dancer, there is always more to see, more to do, and more to learn. Paul is thrilled to teach his first Boogiezone class!
