  • PS

I love the rotating equipment you set up that is just cool!

  • Hehe thanks NoobyRC :) I also got your other comment for some strange reason isn't showing up here but . . . Ya crashing still hurts a little hehe, its so cold here I can't do field repairs cuz my fingers freeze and the glue doesn't work so I have to return home each time. I have to drive out to fields too cuz I'm in the city. I have to admit that crashing is a great teacher hehe. Thanks for the comments :))

  • I use quarters! to balance out the plane! Just a dap of glue and stick em on to the nose till the CG is right.

Yea Foambaord is the way, dont get it wet!

Mikeysrc was a savior for me I spent $180 on a pipper Jcub and it never got off the ground, I have sence built about 6 or 7 foamboard planes, yea they were a learning experience (RC airplanes crash all do sooner or latter) the 6 foamboard planes have cost me a grand total of $20 I have become a better pilot now.

  • Hey that's great to hear NoobyRC thanks for that comment. Sounds similar to what I experienced. You are right about the foam board. Mikey is way cool when I saw his plane I knew that is the plane I wanted to build instead of forking out another bill for a plane that I would trash after 5 flights. Once I'm a good pilot I'll buy the cool stuff. Right now scratch building teaches alot about rc flight. Kudos

  • WOOO HOOO All done. I can't wait to the the video footage you get. Love the camera swivel too =)

  • Heey thanks buddy :)) I got the plans man thanks a million for those!

  • wow thanks a million for this post it looks like i'm gonna have to do that. I'm gonna try the torque rods. its been windy every day damnit, dying to do the maiden.

  • Its great your having fun, because now it becomes about the fun! As cheap s the foam board is and easy it is to repair after crash, crashing one doesnt hurt the wallet maybe the ego a little.

But you can actually get a good laugh when you crash one (it does sucks having to build another one so i don't recommend crashing on purpose) but still if it happens you can find some entertainment.

    Happy Flying

  • was it the design of the plane or just pilot error? I am wanting to build one of these from the mikeysrc plans and want to know how well this type of plane works.

  • thanks jeflatt. i had a couple of crashes and need to repair it, hopefully third time's the charm. I hope to maiden this w/e. Thanks for the comment:)
