  • Thanx for this great clip! Bob,you are sorely missed....

  • @kingpleasure Absolutely...

  • Bob was incredible here.

  • I saw this band in 1973 at the Keystone Korner in San Francisco. Bob Berg is and always will be one of my all time favorite tenor players!

  • Boy,would I love to see footage of Silver with the Brecker brothers...

  • Sound check. The studio recording is tighter w the Brecker Bros. But Tom Harrell n Bob Berg (bless his soul) are stellar. My favorite Horace Silver years. The man can write!

  • Rehearsed?

  • Yeah, Summer In Cental Park. This didn't sound too rehearsed. Little loose on the head but killer solos! The album is outstanding with the Mike n Randy along w/Bob Cranshaw and the impeccable Al Foster, the swingiest drummer alive. Horace sounded great here. Is that Mike Richmond playing Fender bass?

  • this one take's me back to the lighthouse days,it's the late 60's before lee morgan, got killed, the lighthouse was the place.

    Hafeez

  • Great video; Silver was still making great music in the '70s
