You sure are an ungeeky geek. Who ever said you were a geek... :) I know you have potential, but you have to adapt to the current technology. Netbooks are the future.
I did not buy it for being cute. It has a 1.6 ghz processor 1 GB of Ram, 160 gb hard disk, vga out, and a 6 hour battery. I have developed Applications on it, and I am using it as a robotics platform. I know it can be used for much more with a 1.6ghz Intel processor, one of its main selling points is browsing, chatting, skyping, etc
It is 9 inches and not tiny. It might take 3 minutes of getting used to. I use it more then my main desktop. I am buying a U280 soon. Even smaller.
Well, my comment was not meant bad in any way. I just don't like things with tiny screens. :) I need something you can actually WORK with. Not just browsing and things like that. I want space on my screen for developing applications, browsing, chatting, whatever.
That's why I don't like the "omg, it's so small and cute" trend.
I hate stupid people saying stupid things about the size of this decide

I LOVE small Pc's and UMPCs, the smaller the better! I still prefer desktops for serious use though as it's more comfortable.

He means it is handy and your teacher won't hear the clicking of the keys! (If you use it in tablet mode)

You can't carry that in your pocket either! (Unless you have big pockets. Maybe a purse or something, but I don't carry a purse. :P)
