  • Went to see that launch, most incredible experience of my life. Long live space exploration!!!

  • Brings a tear to my eye.....Glad I was able to be there as part of the #nasatweetup....Long Live Atlantis....Long Live the Space Shuttle Program

  • At 2:35, possibly the most amazing comment from the Commander. I had the pleasure of being there, amazing day.

  • Awesome. Simply awesome. sad as well. Keep moving forward NASA.

  • I love the Space Shuttle Atlantis!

  • Now who's going to take and return to earth or repair the satellites now.

  • @Thetruuth1 you're too blind.

  • @RhyeguyGilmer thats true but bush did say in his vision for space exploration that one of the goals was to retire the space shuttle by 2011

  • @indydude454 nobody killed it, they decided to end it after the Columbia disaster because it served its purpose of building the space station. the only fault was having nothing to replace it.

  • Thank you to everyone who ever worked on the shuttle. Thank you to the Astronauts who flew these amazing vehicles. Thank you to the Challenger & Columbia crews who sacrificed their lives for the program. Thank you for 30 years of exploration & God Bless the USA!
