@fergusil Some other guy here wanted me to shoot a quick vid of my collection for huim, but, besides the cam dying, I needed to straighten out my collection, because it's scattered (shelves and stacks) all over the 3rd floor. I'm HOPING to get some time this spring to finally get it all sorted out Right now, it's basically oganized chaos. Except for newer stuff I've bought, or was given, in bulk, I know what I've got & USUALLY know exactly where to find it. Maybe this spring I can do a vid.

@fergusil ...thinking about selling. Mostly because I'll either never listen to them again, or, they're stuff I'm just not interested in. Problem is, there's probably not much of a market for any of them. I tend to think of my records as my children, so, I do take good care of them, but I DID unknowingly (sort of) abuse them a tiny bit as a kid. I don't think there's all that many that sizzle. I don't have any uploads, I'm not sure how to do it, yet, & my viddy cam just died 4 months ago.

@fergusil I DO have some collectible stuff (Like, "Power Boogie" / "Liberation Special" by Elephant's Memory on Apple, worth at least $400.00 & I bought it for a quarter!!), but I'm not so much into money records as much as stuff I just like to listen to. I actually have a few hundred or so 45's & 78's (each) and a few dozen (I guess) albums that I haven't even heard yet. Most things I'll record one of the first times I play them, then just play the recordings. There's a FEW records I'm...

@RedVynil 50,000 records?? BLOODY HELL! and heres me thinking I was doing very well with my Ziggy Stardust limited red vinyl..hee hee.Promise me no matter how bad things get you`ll never part with them or you`ll never played them on a regular basis for fear *cooking a steak*soundeffects start to develope on them. You should upload a blog so people like me can look on in fasaciation if you haven`t already done;must check your uploads.

@fergusil Don't let your age stop you!! By the time I was MAYBE 10 years old, if that, I knew about Glenn Miller, Benny Goodman, Spike Jones, The Marx Brothers and tons of other stuff that was WAY before MY time, as in decades!! I was hatched in `57.
I guess I should know good music. In the first place, music is my life, in the second place, I've got 50,000 records in my collection. My oldest ones are probably 130 year old.

@RedVynil 70/71? Before my time mate,I was born 1971....but its great to come across someone like you who knows good music.

@fergusil Yes, around `70, `71, they were signed to Capitol and released at least one album called, "Hotlegs Thinks: School Stinks" and it not only had a minor hit called, "Neanderthal Man" on it, but the flip side of that on the single "You Didn't Like It, Because You Never Thought Of It" appeared in another form on the first 10 c.c. album a year later.
any chance you could post whos that girl 12"version please?cheers
