No you didn't. You saw different Mosrites, but not the original blue one. The original blue Mosrite was stolen from Johnny in 77. The famous white one replaced it. It's pretty well documented. Johnny had other Mosrites to back up the white one, but the original blue one hasn't been seen since, and it was gone before Marky joined the band. Same with his original amps. The Ramones have had their gear stolen several times.
@hokie46 Wait, the blue one was stolen? Did Johnny steal it, or did someone steal it and sell it to Johnny? Also I've seen him use it when Marky was in the group, and in the later years. But mostly he used the white one.
This is definitely mid to late 77. Johnny's using the white Mosrite, which replaced the blue one, which was stolen in 77. They're in their trademark leather jackets and ripped jeans, which hadn't materialized yet in 74. They're playing pretty fast - much faster than anything they played in 74. And....there's a crowd. The Ramones early shows drew no one. Definitely not 74.
@slapaouttatownposer Yes, with my best guess I'd put it at 1977. Tommy is still drumming an that was his last year, and the year Rockit to Russia Came out.
what a great performance!!!

the first four albums of material by the Ramones was all written well before it was released. 1974 was the year the Ramones formed.
