Kidnapped Journalist Pleas For Her Release

A woman claiming to be a Canadian freelance journalist who was kidnapped nearly a year ago in Somalia has called OMNI Television (http://www.omnitv.ca/) to plea for her release. In a heart-wrenching audio recording, Amanda Lindhout of Alberta describes her life in captivity and is begging the Canadian government to come to her aid.

I saw her last week when she spoke at a lecture, and its actually such a horrifying and sad experience that she went through.
