There was a product that I saw from game informer that lets you do just that. In fact, you can watch 3D without even wearing glasses due to the holographic design of a lense that is placed over the actual screen of the TV, which adjusts the light given to each eye in order to create a 3D effect. If it works for video games, I'm sure it works for DVD.
Make sure you manufacture models that will fit OVER someone's glasses. Not everyone has perfect vision, so either include a diopter to compensate or make them compatible with corrective lenses.
