Paradox Interactive are proud to announce their newest internally developed game, Sengoku, a Grand Strategy title for the PC set in 15th century Feudal Japan. To celebrate the occasion, a teaser trailer has been released!

In this deep character driven strategy game, you play as the head of an illustrious Samurai family. The year is 1467 and civil war has broken out. The authority of the Ashikaga Shoguns has collapsed and it is every man for himself in the provinces. Honor and duty vie with survival in the delicate dance of power, conquest and betrayal as you attempt to unite the land of the Rising Sun through a combination of deal-making with foreign powers, sending your powerful samurai armies into battle against your enemies, and unleashing shadowy Ninja clans under the cover of darkness to assassinate your rivals!

@hilletehnoob I pre-ordered Crusader Kings 2 and it's great game. At least I thought Sengoku is quite similar and as great as CK2. Actually Crusader Kings 2 and Victoria are my favourites. I like Total Wars too and have all of them but I think something between paradox games and total wars could be awesome. Perhaps it's easier said that done. Thank you for advice, maybe I download Sengoku first and try out it.

@Equinoxmies well it's to simple,almost no variables,it completly sucks for a strategy game,it sucks compared to EU3,Victoria 2 and other paradox games,the economy system is very primitive,it basically only has the military component(and it's also to damn simple),well i hated it,in first 10 minutes of play i got tired of it,you can always download it first to try,you can find it on piratebay or something...i disliked it,it's my opinion,you might like it.

Crusader kings 2 got out,much better.

@hunter4hire i saw one friend playing and thank god i didn't buy it,such a crappy game compared to EU3,victoria 2 or HOI3,this game completly SUCKS.

this game is awesome, it's nothing like Shogun. Shogun Total War is cool, but this game has detail, SO MUCH DETAIL! from marriage, to heirs, to vassals who you trust, becoming pretenders for the throne, to ronin, to fully managing your clan. This game has more depth than you might realize, don't judge it by some crappy trailer.

I have to take the train for 2 hours every morning. I can't play Shogun 2 on my computer there, because the battery doesn't last 1 hour. I think I'm gonna take this shit, pretending that I'm playing Shogun 2 and my battery should even gains hours while I'm playing. I mean, who are they kidding ?
