I just wanted to post a Huge Thank You to Rick and all the gang at PINTECH USA for making a dream come true.

It started more then a year ago when I bought my first PINTECH kit a custom Tour Elite, (It was/is amazing) I started thinking about how cool it would be to update my antique Meazzi Hollywood kit with PINTECH triggers. I had owned, used and abused this kit from early 1980. It was not until years later that I find out what I really had. It is a rare Italian drum set from the 1960's. The Meazzi Hollywood kit was designed and promoted in part by jazz greats Max Roach and Billy Cobham. What makes it kind of special is that it was one of the first kits ever to use electronics. (It had pickups installed in the shells that went to a special Hollywood Amp.) It also has some really unusual hardware, as it is all connected to a rolling rack.

It was Made in Millan, Italy, bought in Edmonton, Canada. It has played all over Canada even into the N.W.T. Moved to Texas, shipped from Dallas to Greenville, SC, and back to Conroe, TX and now the kit is finished! (A long trip, but worth it) It has had several hardware peaces fixed and custom fabricated by Jim at Jp2 creations. (http://www.jp2creations.com/). All electronics are from PINTECH. and now........ it is better then what the makers could have even dreamed of.

It has been tricked out top to bottom with:
Dual zone 14" snare trigger
Dual zone 12" tom trigger
Dual zone 14" tom trigger
Dual zone 16"floor tom trigger
Single 22" bass drum trigger.
Two dual zone 18" Visu-lite cymbals
Full motion 13" Visu-lite hats.

"It plays like a dream." The 1960's meets 2005, PINTECH style.
Visulite cymbals and Roland TD-6.
