OMG!! I was 2 yrs old when this show came out and whenever I ask anyone if thyey remember this show, the say no! I just had this picture of the train with the shows characters stuck in my head for about 27yrs......and it was confirmed. Memory is some crazy shit!! AWESOME

I used to remember this theme because it was always on at like 6 am so the "get up" quote of the song was soo fitting and a great shoe cartoons suck now!!!

@ray53208 What critics of The Get Along Gang fail to mention is that the characters learned the errors of their ways because they behaved badly (cheating, lying, being selfish, etc.), not because of trivial matters like ice cream flavors or stuff like that. What is wrong with teaching kids that the aforementioned things are not good? I don't think that's "mind control". It was a pretty good show and very popular at its time.
