nice job, man... quick question: what's your 1 rep barbell max bench press? i'm asking because i can dumbbell press 135-140 in each hand 3 times, and am trying to figure out around what i could bb max.
-
how do we know its 150?

@aesmitty Please do some research before saying things like that, because bodybuilding is NOT the same as powerlifting. At a bodybuilding competition, they judge based on physique. At a powerlifting competition, they judge based on weight lifted for bench, squat, and deadlift. You won't see a powerlifter doing 4 types of curls 3x8-12 once a week--he'll do mostly compound exercises, with the Big 3 (mentioned above) only with 1 set of 1-5 reps, because that gives the greatest strength gains.

@AnotherWayToD1E Good lord you're dumb. It's all bodybuilding, power lifting is a different aspect on it. So strength has nothing to do with gaining muscle? Please kill yourself now so you don't contaminate the human gene pool. Thanks.

@BrutalValor I totally agree. You don't have to be cut up but this kid has a huge belly and no control over the weight and he ONLY got 3, if you wanna call that 3. He obviously needs to train with lower weights and get control. Anybody can lift heavy weights with shitty form a few times. What does that get you? Nothing.

@aesmitty As I said, POWERLIFTING, not bodybuilding. Completely different. Powerlifting=lifting the most weight. Bodybuilding=appearance. This guy is going for strength, which isn't about gaining muscle as much as it is causing neural adaptations to occur to allow your body to put to use more motor untis. And only ignorance and lack of proper understanding would lead you to believe that 8-12 reps is the only way to cause muscle hypertrophy. It's not about reps, it's about volume and tonnage.
-
I think he's a powerlifter. Look at Zydrunas Savickas and Terry Hollands. Huge bellys but both very strong. Powerlifting is whole different game. There's no need to look like a beast, only to have the strength of one.
-
good form for 150's....but you really should have a spotter (even with dumbells)

@AnotherWayToD1E ROFL. I'm 6'3 240 at 12%. You're a complete fool. That guy has WAY more fat than anyone should have when bulking, hence this kid is just a fat ass. Even pro's wouldn't have that much fat on them when bulking. Case and point of the best out there Johnnie Jackson, on 255lb, off 275lb.
Lastly, those reps were shit. Kid can't handle that weight. If you knew anything about weight training you would know that for proper muscle hypertrophy you need at least 8-12 reps.
beast man look at how low he was going with those reps at 150 lbs that a monster i bet u can bench a shitload ur arms are gigantic i gotta ask u though do u take steroids cus my brother takes steroids but im not saying u do cus i know guys that are strong but dont take them but even if ur still a beast

Thank you for the compliments bro! I don't take streoids. I have been training in bodybuilding for 4 years and almost a year now in powerlifting totaling 5 years training. I compete in the WABDL, 100% RAW, and USAPL federations and all are drug-tested federations. "What you precieve and believe, you can achieve."
