Today was my day off so I decided to fix my dryer. I've had the parts for a few days but did not have time to install them.

Actual pic of bypassed thermal switch. http://twitpic.com/3xidxv

  • Well, that's 2:36 that I'll never get back and I'm no more enlightened about fixing my dryer than I was before watching this!

  • @camhaloofflies Its not a tutorial. Here is the plan, buy the parts, when you get the parts open the dryer and find the old ones. Replace it with the new ones. It's just not that difficult.

  • This is a really easy fix. The hardest part for me was figuring how to open it up. Hint, get a large flat head and pry the top up in the front. The parts are in the back on top.

  • Thanks for wasting three minutes of my life. I need to know how to replace the fuse, not watch you scratch yourself with a screwdriver.

  • Wish that I could have seen exactly what you're replacing and how, because it looks as though I have the exact same dryer.

  • you are not showing anything we need to see. May be showing us how you did it would help!
