  • They don't make beautiful music like this any more , but then again it is not a civilized world ,like when this music was made , I feel for these teenagers nowadays , they will never know about CYO dances , car hops and great times , Frank

  • @06131942 I agree with you, I grew up in the '80's and '90's but I'm well-aware that our society has regressed a lot since the '50's and '60's. Everything has really fallen apart and people are completely narcisstic and negative now. Our culture has become primitive and regressive, and all taste and class that people once had has dissapeared. Nowhere is this reflected better than in the music today.

  • just got married to my high school sweetheart and played this song we hadn't been out in 40 yrs or seen one another she got married and i did also we hooked back up on classmates and played this song at our wedding reception thanks cathy

  • For a short time I,m 17 again. This was before the Cuban Missile Crisis, JFK being assassinated, the Vietnam war and the protests against a corrupt government war machine> Have things changed that much? I,m afraid they have. We actually Talked to each other then!

  • @1crankyvet To very great shame. I guess a lot of people agree with us about whose version is better. Look at the difference in sales. TE had some great songs, but Kathy Jean fits this one just right.
