Hi Bulkreef, Seem like great people. Great videos! Why in lighting vids are ballasts never shown or addressed. Type and size of them are very relevant to us hobbyists. Tkanks

I am not sure what ballst it uses because they are located inside the housing . I can tell you that they are not overdrivng the bulbs. Unless you are doing SPS only I wouldnt use a ballets that overdrives the bulbs as they are way too bright for LPS and softies

Since you would like 6 in stead of 8 can't you remove 2 bulbs? Come on, please be honest.

You could certainly remove two and have 6. However If i have 8 I am going to use them all . That said, if i were purchasing a new one for another 90 gallon tank i would probably only get a 6 bulb fixture.
