Dog with degenerative myelopathy

This is my German Shepherd, Pagan. She was recently diagnosed with degenerative myelopathy. You'll notice her right rear leg is particularly wobbly and her back feet drag. Please excuse the Blair Witch-style video. :-(

hello, I am sorry to have watched this video so late after you losing your dog. In a way your dog is remembered without making it harder for you. May I ask if the cancer was generated by or secondary to the DM?

Yes, once that became necessary we did use a support for her rear.

Pagan passed in August 2009, not of DM, but of rapid aggressive cancer.

So sorry to hear that you lost dear Pagan, she was such a beautiful girl to cancer. My German Pointer had DM, it is such an awful disease, I lost him last September and miss him every single day.

Hi my dog has the same, onset approx 18 months ago. She is slightly more progressed at this stage. We have had some success treating with homeopathy, in case you want to try other routes. Regards.
