Mega Apocalypse on a real Commodore 64 using TPC64 interface.

Note: First 2:10 are from a camera. The rest is captured directly from the C64.

Loading, running and playing the game Mega Apocalypse for the Commodore 64. The TPC64 is an interface wich uses a PC as a floppy. D64 images are mounted on the PC software and the C64 sees this as a normal disk drive.

Btw. This game was the first C64 game to have three channel music AND digitized sound effets at the same time. Not bad for a machine wich isn't really capable of playing digitized sound. :P

I have played this game many hours. I must say it's ond of the best C64 Games ive ever played. The gameplay is fast and amazing, the soud effects, the music and the speaker: Speed up, Get Ready, Extra life is soooo COOL. And take a llok on this great graphics!!. In my eyes the best C64 Vertical Shooter. Mcuh better than the similar slower Game "Crazy Comets2

Yes, it is which nobody can deny :)

And it's really like Crazy Comets without all that nasty bugs. A really great game.

Though the Sound of Crazy Comets is impossible to top, I even like the remix in the Mega Apocalypse theme.
