I know em all--Hendrix--metal--Clapton--
blues--Beck--Prog; or Jazz fusion. Jimmy Page--anything you could throw at him. The best..umm... you got to say... Jimmy Hendrix -

song sounds corny. Not the best of songs Mayall band recorded.

If you don't thank Clapton could hold his own with anyone of the best, check his vids here. He has one with over twelve million hits, and another with eight million, and they all have a million or more. The numbers don't lie. Two of his guitars brought two million at auction, others brought over a million. Again, the numbers don't lie. Eric's guitar solos in the slow blues 'Have You Heard' about my baby, is timeless. His feel, his touch, like no other. He makes time stand still. ShadoW

Would have liked to see Hendrix, Clapton, and Beck back in 1968.....On stage together in a guitar war.....Beck would have blown the other 2 off the stage.....Jimi was a showman, and a great player......He was not at the same level with Jeff at that time....Jimi wanted to go into other music styles like Jazz - Rock fusion.....His record company wouldn't hear of it.....Which helped lead to his demise.....It's a shame he didn't live longer....He never met his full potential.....Jeff did

Try to find a Hendrix solo from the same period ,1965-66,that compares with that or Clapton's Fresh Cream studio version of Spoonful .Good Hunting...
