A Special Wish Chicago's Watch-A-Wish: Larie's Shopping Spree

Nineteen-year-old Larie is like most teenagers. She loves music, fashion, spending time with her friends and plenty of shopping. For her wish, Larie wanted a special day trip including time at the spa and a chance to visit Chicago's well-known shopping centers.

Larie met our volunteers at A Matter of Style salon in Oak Park for some pre-shopping primping, a new hairstyle and a fresh coat of "pretty in pink" paint for her nails. The following day, Larie and her parents enjoyed a limo ride to Water Tower mall for a delicious taco and cupcake lunch at Food Life.

Larie's shopping spree started at T Mobile where she found a bright and sparkly purple phone (she can't wait for her friends to call her) and then the party moved to Macy's where Benefit make-up made her over. She received a warm and enthusiastic welcome and plenty of goodies to take home!

After her makeover, it was time for Larie to choose a new wardrobe. Dressed in dark skinny jeans, a bright pink sweater and Guess purse by her side, Larie looked great in her new Valentine's Day outfit. We were happy to see her end her special day with her hands full of bags and a smile on her face!
