On July 22nd, 2007, the Mayflower II set sail in celebration of its 50th year. This is a clip as we were coming into Plymouth harbor as the Mayflower and a procession of a number of vessels set sail out of the Harbor. The Mayflower II is a reproduction of the original Mayflower which brought the English Colonist, now known as Pilgrims, to Plymouth. Conceived as a symbol of Anglo-American cooperation during World War II, the ship was built in 1955-57 in the town of Brixham, Devon England.

Yes! The real Mayflower was such a clapped-out tub that they scrapped it and re-processed the timber, the moment it returned to Rotherhithe. I really do think that the King was weak (Scottish you know?) and he should have had the Royal Navy fire-bomb the pilgrim traitors as soon as they hit deep water. That would have really tested their faith.
