This is mick smith's first you tube video - it's me playing a medieval tune called horses bransle. I'm playing a 1922 gibson A2 mandolin

  • I have the sheetmusic to this and many other medieval favorites. Most can be found online, but it won't let me past a web address in this box..hmmm. Contact me if needed.

  • @mixedmyth You've done a wonderful job with your video :) I love this song and play alot of medieval/irish music at festivals and such. I'm a flutist, but learning string instruments...you can be my inspiration..HUZZAH!!!

  • Lovely job, sir! I have heard different renditions of this song, but it was interesting to listen to the solely mandolin part

  • dont be hard on yourself! You did great and that song was wonderful! Musicians never get 100% when playing.. its just so hard to do and if you try to get it perfect you will definitely mess up. Just relax and let go and play your tune, you're good at it! Great Vid!

  • Thank you!

  • very good, i love this instrument, but i can´t play good

  • Well rendered , I have danced to this music many times in the SCA
