  • It was October 12th 1962. I remember how it lifted a neighbor's roof and set it in the middle of the street. There were no large trees nearby.

  • Or was it 1962? 

  • Try October 1967: Columbus Day Storm that wrecked havoc from Northern California up to British Columbia and winds topped 90 miles per hour in many valley floor locations.
