Bown always did great in the busch series, and the old Winston West, but the Winston Cup was not something he ever found a niche in

@davidd2172 Yeah, i remember that part of the race! I remember thinking we would never get a full 5 laps in the reat of the day, let alone finish the race! What the Hell do you think woulda happened had this race been 500 miles?

Chuck was not a Cup driver, he just never was competitive enuff! Pressley was another driver that didnt have the tempermant for competitive racing like NASCAR Winston Cup.

this crash happened right in front of me, I was front row, just past the flagstand. I have lots of pics of Rusty getting out and checking on Mark and how the cars were all tangled up.. weird crash indeed. Then Mark got out and they both talked just on the other side of the wall.. I remember it like it was yesterday. Thanks again for posting!
