Why can't some people understand that we are all both individuals AND members of something or things larger than ourselves? Why can they not understand that giving of oneself is the highest expression of our individualism? Who as a child could not relate to a movie about an animal exhibiting altruistic behavior? Why then can adults go about saying the highest goal is selfishness? Would anyone care to answer?

@G0ttaBeFresh What can Ron Paul do? I believe he'd be a much better president than anyone else, but he won't change our system. The problems we face today are not just the product of greed and corruption, in fact the opposite is true, they are the products of capitalism, we need to eradicate the illness, not the symptoms. I stand for the Resource Based Economy (RBE).
