Love the video! Great job! Wanted to lend a tip to you, to help Penny loose that extra belly fat, increase the amount of protein she gets from her grain (ex. from 12% to a 14-16% pellet). It'll really trim her up! I guess this video is kind of old though, so maybe for future young miniature, keep it in mind. Keep up the great work!! :)

wow! you are an amazing trainer!! My little yearling mini colt is learning most of this. i have taught him to rear, bow / lie down, paw on command and soon to spin and hopefully side passing. Do you know how to teach them to side pass? I would love some tips or pointers! :)

@ThePonyPros Thankyou:))
love it...how did you get her to rear? was it by getting her to target the bumper with her legs or nose??

@MultiAnimalcrackers Basically... She was solid on both leg and nose targeting before we started the rearing and we set it up for success by using sideways to get her feet placed up under her. A lot of horses think about going up when they are first learning sideways, since they have to place their feet under themselves to cross over. If you offer a target after you've played with some sideways and got the hind legs engaged, they'll usually go up for the target.
