Strelok's technique (cocking the hammers with the thumb of the shooting hand) was better than Scar's or Degtyarev's (cocking the hammers with the palm of the support hand which is actually difficult in real life since they're made to be cocked the way Strelok does it). To cock them both simultaneously, it's actually better to use both thumbs, one for each hammer, instead of the palm of the support hand.

@RandomCamCorder Probably a bandit bleeding out from getting perforated with buckshot.

@MattyDienhoff The rabbit-ear hogleg's antiquatedness is also the source of its charm. It's an Old West/Mad Max style kauboy gun that has to be used methodically (using guerrilla-style hit-and-run tactics) to be effective. Seems like it was more effective in ShoC (v1.0004 or later). It's more effective still in Oblivion Lost. ObLost 2010 has long and short versions of both the TOZ-34 and the TOZ-66 (and the sawed-offs fit in slot-2).

Browning MK2 and the M1911 are the best secondary's in Clear Sky.

@MrJugoG4life
Those and the SIG P220 are my favourite sidearms, for sure. :)

Really enjoying your stalker vids, very creepy games, had SoC and clear sky on my shelf for a few years now, but not got round to them much, as this PC isn't really up to it.
Creepy game, you seem to keep a very cool head, fire and manouvre etc.

@wildgoosey
Thanks!
I'm planning to do a vid of SoC in which I assault the bandit base in Dark Valley. That place almost reminds me of a special forces CQB course, only with live targets. :P
