Murfreesboro Mosque Protest and Counter-Protest (4 of 4)

This video features the anti-mosque marchers. From their chants and signs, it's very obvious that this is about fear and intolerance, not "due process." Some of my favorite shouts were:

"No mosque! No shar'ia!"
"Support our American troops who lived and died for this!"
"Islam is fascism!"
"We don't hate muslims, we just don't want them here!"
(It's hard to hear this one as I'd turned my camera toward the pro-mosque protestors at that point, but it comes right before the collective giggle that many on our side couldn't stifle. For crying out loud, that's like claiming segregation wasn't about racism -- just people who didn't want to be around black people.)
"There is no freedom of religion in Islam!"

It interested me how many of the chants involved addressing Islam as though it was a person. "Just ask Islam!" was said several times.

I also think this video is important because it shows the right way to do a counter-protest: instead of responding to the obvious goading from the other side, everybody merely stood and watched while holding up peace signs and protest signs. I really, *really* liked the atmosphere by us. I realize going to a rally is for supporting a cause, but this one was positively fun to boot! It's amazing how good you feel among a momentary community of folks joined in the cause of freedom.

Finally, I apologize for the shaky camera work. I need more practice with live events. But hey, at least I now have video editing software. This is the first time ever I've had cuts in my clips! (I only cut out parts that were boring because it was just people standing around -- I didn't cut out any relevant or interesting content.)

America already has the best defense against Sharia law any nation can ever have. It is called the Separation of Church and State. Shame that most of the people doing this protest probably don't believe it even exists.

You're so misinformed its unbelievable. Instead of reading random parts of the Quran read it properly. You will see that it only says the "killing of the infidels (or nonbelievers)" is justified if they come to kill you and your family.. or aka in a state of WAR. It doesnt say to go on the street and kill anyone who doesnt believe.. if it did you think you'd be alive right now? Ignorance is bliss.

Christians are radical too as you obviously didn't notice,it was CHRISTIANS that burned the construction equipment and CHRISTIANS that started making threats. Christians casted the first stone in the Murfreesboro protest,if they become radical and fight back make sure you're on the front line so maybe we can be short one less ignorant person. They are now our neighbors,get over it or get outta Murfreesboro. Deal with it
