John, Thanks for the info...that puts me one step closer to building this thing....I'll post a video of the project when I get it completed someday. In the middle of a restore of a Philco 40-180 for my in-laws. Then I have to get back to my Zenith 9S262 that has been on the back burner for over a year now, then the AM Transmitter. I'm sure I'll have questions along the way. Thanks again! Tony

Rick,
Each hour it seems to be transmitting better and better. I can't tell you how happy I am with its performance. The audio is so clear. Who needs store-bought Chinese crap, huh?
Had you not posted your transmitter video, I would not have this one today. Thanks, my friend.
Regards,
John

I wholeheartedly agree...it is cool. I wanted one of these transmitters the instant I watched Rick's Youtube video about it. It took a while, but it's finally here. I like it a lot.
Thanks for your kind visit. Please stop in again.
Regards,
John
John,
I've watched this and Rick's video and I am thinking of building this. What did you use for the chassis? Did you have the base made? Thank you, Tony

@railcruzr1,
Tony,
Good for you...give it a try.
I got a 16 x 8 x 3 inch aluminum chassis from Radiosupply (dot) com...part number HE1444-28. Current cost is $26.91. Aluminum is easy to drill and punch holes in for the tube sockets. But you won't need a chassis that large. In fact, if I were to do it again I'd first check Wal-Mart for a cheaper, somewhat deep aluminum cake pan. I've seen many a homebrew item having a cake or bread pan for a chassis.
