Late response, but the point of the clues were to lead them to keys that would unlock the doors. Room 205 probably either had another clue, or the key for one of the rooms.

completely the boys fault this one. Daffyd shouting his head off just like he's clearly told he's not allowed to do. Paul just ignoring what Tanya and Karrie are doing in order to lead a keyless Daffyd to a locked door. Chris does nothing!
