The trouble is the government de criminalised parking offences. a parking fine was owed to the police. now its owed to the council and they get the baliffs in. Progress?

and its really bad in town centers with old terrace style houses with no off road parking/gurages yet these are prime target locations for the scum of the earth clampers.

@SantomPh the biggest majority of the problems are casued by the government, not just the current but previous govenrment parties like labour who drew up massive plans for future housing sites only they always design the houses in a typical young family situation, 2 adults 1 child so enough room for just 1 car and keep the houses as close together as possable resulting in over parking/lack of space, worse still as most familys today have 2 cars (typical average per house hold).
