i reside in wv myself. there are many rattle snakes in white rock national forest. its very rocky and its loaded with rattlers

i reide in allegany co and work in the mountains of wv building windmills there is a specific spot on the moutain near vepco lake where we have seen up to 27 timber rattlers in one day...

in wisconsin we only have two species of rattlers and one is very rare the timbler rattlers up here arent deadly to humans im told, but still dangerous.

great video, Its nice to see someone from outside of west virginia with such an appreciation for its beauty! it is truly a wonderful place to live, i live about 10m minutes from the wma where this video was shot. yeah the timbering sucks, its underway i hear, that pisses me off!
At last, a "snake hunter" video that is not sensationalistic, not overly dramatic.

Yes, WV is a beautiful state! Outdoor enthusiasts will love it. Btw...Timber rattlers are beautiful :)
