How to use a PSD.
1. Download your PSD and then find it in your computer. I suggest making a folder for your psds so that they're all in one place and not scrambled anywhere.
2. Click and drag the PSD file into photoshop. PSD files don't have a real picture. Just a white piece of paper with a blue square on it that says Ps.
3. Click the first adjustment layer and then hold the shift key and click the last adjustment layer. This will select all the adjustment layers inbetween as well. Adjustment layers are the ones with a picture of a person on it. Like Selective Color, Curves, Color Balance, etc. If there's a texture, make sure to include that, too.
4. Click on any one of the layers you just selected and drag it to the picture you want to be colored.
5. Press CTRL + T (Free Transform) and then drag the corners of the gray box so that it fits your picture. If a PSD doesn't need to be free transformed, photoshop will tell you after you press CTRL + T.
My PDs files either show a picture or it's not readable (it comes up as a white sheet with little colored boxes in the middle). Do I need to download something? I got Photoshop CS4 btw
