Big Oops here. Okay, bars, sports, youth pavilion, Grout Museum. Yes, People actually do partake of culture while vacationing. Hey Aaron, how about the Waterloo Public Library, or the WCF symphony. You missed the boat there.

There is truly something for everyone in Waterloo. It is a great place to take a weekend trip and stay downtown or at the casino (or both) and experience all the new restaurants and museums. With gas prices so high, it is much more affordable to stay there than to travel outside the state! We love it!

We have been to the Waterloo Phelps Youth Pavilion with our three kids -- 3, 7 & 12 -- and we have finally found a place where none of them complain about being bored! We also have to hit the Lost Island Water Park a few times every summer. Good commercial!

I've lived in Waterloo and that is not Waterloo! Waterloo is a horrible place where even on a sunny day there is a cloud of shame and failure that darkens every reprehensible inch of the city. Waterloo is waiting in an arab gas station parking lot for a dime of probably oregano hoping who ever delivers it doesn't feel like sticking a gun in your face over ten dollars. Waterloo is not knowing if your gonna go to your car after work and find your stereo stolen. Do Not Go There!
